| Miguel Estrada has brought to our attention a couple
of defects in Puzzle No. 2. First, we list Ralph Winter as a former Thurgood Marshall
clerk without noting that Winter clerked for Marshall on the United States Court of
Appeals for the Second Circuit. Second, having listed Winter's clerkship with a
Justice-to-be, we fail to include Alex Kozinski’s clerkship with then-Ninth Circuit
Judge Anthony Kennedy and J. Michael Luttig's clerkship with then-D.C. Circuit Judge
Antonin Scalia as correct answers. (Kozinski and Luttig also clerked for Warren Burger,
after Burger left the D.C. Circuit for a higher plane of life.)
